Sowing Information
Sow thinly direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed-free soil at a depth of 5mm (1/4") in rows 15cm (6") apart. Thin seedlings to about 7-10cm (3-4") between plants. It is recommended that plants are protected with cloches against frost or severe weather.
Alternatively, to keep leaves clean, can be grown successfully in 75mm (3") pots or in the greenhouse border. Pick a few leaves at a time from each plant to encourage fresh growth.
